imo its a pretty lame excuse, to have no time for a planet coz of beeing a hc....
also i saw hcs or officers without a planet.....kinda strange isnt it ?

Speaking of Hcs and other officers without a planet at all,
that Ive never understood.
If I dont play the game I will not lead others in it.
As to the rest, I cant speak for other HCs,
but to and for me the comments shoot way off the target.
I stopped working because Elysium needed more time from me than I had to give whilst being fully employed.
My normal workshedule for Ely the last 2 rounds has been
staying up 48 h (which is approximately the time Ive
found Im able to stay up on a regular basis),
then sleeping for about 8 then back on for 48h.
During the time Im up I will on a general basis have problems getting away from my puter to shower and eat,
and it will take me often up to half a day to get that done.
This because there is always something that needs to be done,
and always members that need help with something or other.
They deserve whatever I can give them, wheter its time or work.
I am the head of mil and also of external, in addition I do defence calls, especially at the ungodly hours of the night and morning where all alliances have a problem with the amount of BCs on.
Then there are the regular runnings of an alliance,
with informing members,announcements,
answering questions, setting up roosters, battlegroups, targetpicking, keeping up outside relations, etc.
There are more things to do than I get to count most days.
I still attack EVERY day,as well as being in the
top20 defenders of Elysium the last 2 rounds.
(The rounds before that I was top defender of Elysium every round..)
We run with bgs that have different launchtimes,
and when all targets are set and all attacks are open,
I will work to get everything everywhere covered and then
9 times out of 10 I will pick one or two targets that are uncoverable in the sense that theyre bad targets.
That isnt a good way to grow big,but its the way I play.
To me my size isnt very important,
and my planet gets the last scraps of my attention after everything else has gotten its share.
Telling me that Im a worse HC for it
I find quite ill informed and also slightly insulting.
Personally, I could spend more time on myself and my own planet, but that time would have to come from somewhere.
The day has a limited amount of hours,so Elysium would get less.
Btw,I dont play a tiny planet, just to make that clear,
I mean Ive never been under the uni avg,and Ive been sized
at least the last 2 rounds around the avg or higher in Elysium.
But youre not talking about playing a decent planet,
youre talking about playing a good planet,
and top100 or whatnot just isnt happening.
Regards,Eylisia
