Well for one thing it is not inclusive, and it excludes nothing. According to the privacy pollicy iTunes might send Apple a list of all your media files regularilly, as well as personal details etc. Not that I think it does, but the policy does indicate that they have no qualms about getting and storing various details about you and your useage without your explicit consent (no, I do not count having a public privacy policy on the download page explicit concent)

Get use to it, more and more programs are droping 9x support for obvious reasons. Go visit steampowered.com The majority of the bitchers are still using 9x clients and very few if any are found to be using 2000 or above.

Quake3. For it's time it was awesome looking.
Making games for Linux isn't profitable for developers. 90% of the worlds computer users use Windows, and most Linux users aren't hard-core gamers. Then where's the market?
They can better put their development time into some awesome feature than making the thing cross-platform.

Its based on Unix for one thing. Not linux nor BSD. Another thing, all the MAC games are like 2+ years old and no one has been able to show a profitable game yet.

It also uses a standard set of proprietary hardware.
You can't readily compare it to anything else.
