The last Dragon
Garth was told many stories about those mighty creatures the common people called dragons. His Grandfather was a Dragon-Rider and always told him stories about those mystic reptiles and about why they dissapeared from Talon.
They were fed up with the wars of the humans and elbs, they got wiped out by a desease, the evil dwarfs killed the last of em or simply their time had just come.
No one knew the real reason, but for 60 years no one has seen a dragon anywhere. Garths grandfather did not want to believe that the last Dragon had dissapeared and always told stories about a mysterious island in the Muleon Sea where the last Dragons escaped to. However he was a old man and no one really wanted to believe him. He got laughed at for his stories of this island, no one ever heard about it and when he was asked how he would know about this, he replied Gryth the dragon had told him.
Ofc everyone knew Dragons couldnt speak and so Garth´s grandfather became the mock of the people.
Garth seemed to be the only one to believe him, and after his grandfather had died he told his father and dad he would want to find out about the last dragon.
His parents werent happy for Garth to leave, but they knew he was a young man who has got to see the world.
So that one fine day Garth packed his bag, his bow and the bit of money his parents could give him and moved out of town heading towards the coast of Muleon.
The first days of his journey went without trouble, he moved southwards through the villages. Whenever he met someone and got asked where he was going he was laughed at, as he told hes going to find the last Dragon. No one believed in dragons anymore and he started to feel sorry for his grandfather as he was always laughed at.
Will he find the unknown island ? Will he find that last Dragon and is it true that dragons can speak?
