just like last round, the reason why 1up won this round was not through expert political manipulation, it was through the inability of alliances to make their members attack their enemy. Thus limiting the firepower being directed at 1up and turning the tide of the war. LCH was significantly hampered this round by numerous top planets refusing until the very end to attack the enemy, and when they were finally forced to? they drop into vacation mode.

lokken im just saying that I did avoid 1up as a planet, for most of the round...as I did go into a gal with Dinobot and Damon, both 1up. Knowing theese guys' alliance, I stayed off. Not because I fear 1up, but because I respect thoose guys. I stay off 1up, they stay off Insomnia. This way our gal have gotten had a much better relationship(the 5 private people). When I joined with them tho, I honestly thought 1up would get hammered by LCH cause of the numbers. They didnt and I blame LCH.
(Does this make me a fence sitter?)

On the other side. If people get ORDERED by their alliances to attack whoever. They should listen or begone. Thats what I did when I launched on 1up intentionally(and eventually), and I got hammered big time for it. I knew I would get hammered, beeing HC and in 1up gal.

Now im back to staying off 1up, cause of the gal. If Ren orders me to do an attack on 1up again, ill do it. For the alliance. Knowing ill die again.

Not entirely sure wtf im trying to say here. Think im trying to say that planetnaps isnt crime, as everyone wants a good gal(and as few incs as possible). However in the end alliances should/does have the last say.

If your alliance doesn't target 1up, you can't be fencesitting (it'd be like calling ND members in 1up gals fencesitters). Your post seems pretty fair on all fronts, i'm not arguing - I was just fooling around with the post above :)

If you choose to play that way, I have no problem with it. I have a slightly different attitude, but i can't expect everyone to play in the 'lok' way.

Well, guess its more a question wether Insomnia should hit 1up more. We've hardly ever had time to do it cause of all the alliances around us constantly wanting to fight

Anyway theres noone but 1up who deserves to win this round :/
Maybe if Dragons return we'll have 2-3 allies with guts(Ministry FAnG Dragons etc)

I dont really blame the members fencesitting. I blame the HC\officers for allowing it.
There is no doubt that having 2 top5 planets and not to be able to use their ships were they are most needed are in my opinion not accepteble for an alliance that wants to win

They should have been kicked and roided longtime ago if they refused to hit 1up.
Looking my own roid size\score i know i could easy have been a top planet also if i had been sitting on the fence and watching my alliance mates do the battles for me.

unlike some of those other people, MiX was a large player, and quite the thorn in 1ups side for most of the round, it seemed like he ONLY attacked 1up lol.

Fence sitting never wins, cause in the end, the alliance HC will do something about it (usually, but this is also at the VERY end). And when that does happen, as it did last round, the enemy comes down hard on you.

It didn't happen last round. There was a massive amount of fencesitters in the t100 last round. 1up kept their naps all round.

I have little doubt that those who allow galaxy NAP's to perpetuate with planets from hostile alliance are to blame (although to a lesser extent) like the people who take them on.

The difference is that initially alliances have an interest in doing so, while fencesitting is an active choice by the player to hide from conflict for personal benefit to the detriment of his alliance and the game as a whole.

There were people who kept their naps the whole round, and there are those that still have naps today. However Noob_Fish, if you dont remember Mickemus/Porno, he was forced off the fence near the end of the round by VsN HC, and was immediately smashed by 1up, much the same as Elviz/Cocteau were this round. Go crawl back into your hole.

Considering that 1up effectively bought/stole the majority of their top planets from other allainces who had benefited most of the round from membership of said alliance, it doesnt look too good really?

Ok, i've seen you post this same crap a few times now. What does the word "most" mean to you? To me it means "well over half". No matter what you define as being "top planets" (T1, T10, T20, T50, T100, T200) the majority (that means over half) were 1up last round - and were 1up when ticks started this round (when we only had about 50 members).

I agree, if we're gonna whine about some top players who leave their alliance to join another then hell, we'll be crying all day long, all year long. I'm sure some top planets left their alliances and joined 1up (hello absolute), so what's the big deal? The alliance that saw their big member leave had the chance to not let him join 1up with all his roids and ships.

i so damn agree with you (and im not proud of it!).

if an alliances loses members - out of whatever reasons (sense??) - the alliance can do seomthing. if they dont do they accept that they change or are to weak/incompetent to change the firepower of these planets to a small minimum.

its not the fault of the alliance who takes these people....its the fault of the alliance who "let them go" and of course maybe has to do with character of the people who chose to leave themself (depends on the reasons why they left)

BTW, I believe that it wasn't so much the planetary NAPS that gave 1up the win this round, as a universal inability to play this game :P 1up plays an entirely different game then 90% of the players here, and it's quite obvious that it works.

Hi my name is TeK and im sometimes called a Fencesitter.

Call it all you want, while LCH ive roided only 1, 1up Planet. Is it fence sitting? I willingly hit any planet other then 1up due to the fact of having 3 1up members in my galaxy. I could of shared the fate with MiX by attacking 1up non stop but why do that? I should do that and willingly give Elviz / Cocteau the round? Neither of them all round have attacking a 1up and denied to and even I QUOTE, Cocteau saying they would leave LCH if forced to attack 1up. Can you even believe LCH HC knew this since pt 200? I refused to hit 1up aslong as they are going to fencesit anyway, they deserved there fate.

Had LCH focused on hitting 1up and you said 'no, I wont hit 1up, they'll roid me' then you would have been. But due to LCH's lack of spine, you've gotton away with it. However, their lack of spine could well be because of the fencesitters. Vicious circle.
