Reading, Thursday-Monday.

you're actually arriving on the friday?
are you meeting anyone who's already provided tents or are you planning to mill around until you find somewhere? Just curious because, at least at Leeds the last two years, there's been hardly any space in the main sites by about 5 o clock on the thursday, and I think Reading is a smaller site...

Probably. If not then Thursday evening, I have some blood tests to go for earlier in the day on Thursday.
I know various other people going, but I hadn't made any plans to be honest. I'm not really that fussed about where I lay my head.

thus they also get growled and shouted at by young barristers trying to get to court on time.

Re: Carling Weekend
I just sold my V Festival (Chelmsford, camping) ticket on eBay for £200, originally cost £100. Couldn't be bothered to go anymore.

Re: Carling Weekend
I'm not going to Whitby this year for two reasons:
1) I don't have the money.
2) The only band that they've confirmed as of yet is Doctor and the ****ing Medics.

It doesn't get much better for the spastics that find the door either. The deranged procession of emo dweebs and goth fags moves at about 1 metre an hour clogging up the road and pavements, making it impossible for anyone else to get on with their day at a normal speed.
God help you should you have to try to buy anything from a supermarket in Reading this weekend too.

Re: Carling Weekend
arcade fire, pixies, bad religion were all better than sex.
the national, bloc party, iggy, nine black alps, the futureheads, the kills and the go! team were about on a par with sex.
