We try to attack at least once every day to boost the scores ofeveryone in the alliance. We have had one or two drop-outs and almost immediately after they left, they were attacked and their scores droppedas they had little or no defense and nobody to attack with to regain their old score

You have to do better with the recruitment thread though. That was just awful. Sit down, take a few minutes and think of something that would make your alliance special. And the little time i knew you in our gal, I do not think that you are active/experienced enough to have an alliance
You should try joining one instead to learn and grow.
