I'm being told that I'll be working during Cup Final day despite being an avid Arsenal fan.
And they all took the piss.
My manager* is on holiday.
My assistant manager* is going to take the day off to see the game.
The other two admin guys* are going to watch the game (it's technically their day off)
And I'll be (as usual) running admin on my own.
I can bring a small telly with me but my small office is based in the basement of the shop.
Is there any idea where I could watch the match apart from getting hold of a laptop, use my uncles 3G datacard and scour the interweb for a live feed of the match?

Re:
You could cause a bomb threat to get it postponed to a day when you are not working.

And they could sack me. And that'll leave me looking like a bum at home.
I was thinking of playing football on Friday afternoon and try to get my foot injured so that I could stay at the hospital for two days. Sadly I'm a bit scared to conflict self-harm.

Re:
Is it the same feeling listening the game on radio instead of seeing it on TV?

Re:
I had the same problem.
The daft south african **** of an assist manager swapped my shifts around since he 'cant' work saturday. This is the same guy thats had 3 months off sick so far this year, and hasnt done a full days work since before christmas.
I told him that he could change the rota however he liked, but I wasnt going to be in, and if he didnt like it we could have this discussion infront of my bosses boss. He still thinks I'm coming in, this is going to be fun.
By the way, is there anyway to punch a co-worker and not be fired for it?

/internet toughguy mode on
Calmly follow him inside the toilet, put his head in one of the toilets and beat the living daylight out his eyes, after that proceed with his body. Some heavy object to hit the body with is recommended. Don't stop untill he begs for mercy. Then tell him in a very polite manner to be nice, tell him he's still your friend as long as he wants you to be his friend. Smile friendly and offer him a coffee after the incident.
Key to all this is to rage hard when being physical but be calm and friendly when in conversationmode.

Re:
Get a huge extension for the aerial for your mini-TV.
Place there aerial where you'lll get reception, obviously not where the TV is.

Alan Green is a good commentator.
Much better than the TV.

Re:
I intend to be completely plastered come 3 o'clock on Saturday.
You have my condolences for missing the game but it's for the best.
I wouldn't want to watch my team get annihilted on cup final day
