There is no website to refer to with this story, this comes to you live and real from my own home.

Friday March 14, 2003
Unable to provide feeding arrangements for Fishie, their 6 month old goldfish, the DMs say their last goodbyes as they prepare to depart for a week-long holiday in New York

Saturday, March 22, 2003
On arrival back from New York, Fishie is seen to be glowing with health and the fishtank slightly cleaner than usual. The DMs suspect Fishie has been eating his own sheit and algae.

Sunday September 21 2003, 19:00 hours
DM, on advice from his partner that the fishtank '****ing mings', moves Fishie from the tank and places him in a plastic container half filled with fishtank water.

Sunday September 21 2003, 20:15 hours
DM proceeds to clean the tank and refill with clean water, planning on moving Fishie back to the tank after several hours to allow Chlorine levels to subside.

Sunday September 21 2003, 20:30 hours
During dinner, Fishie is seen to jump out of the water several times, always landing back in his container.

Sunday September 21 2003, sometime between 20:30 and 21:45 hours
At some point during dinner and the following TV watching, Fishie makes a desparate bid for freedom and leaps from his tank, Nemo-style, only to miss any sort of watery haven and lands on the floor, behind a bookcase

Sunday September 21 2003, 21:45 hours
Before retiring to bed, Mrs DM checks the container for Fishie, who is nowhere to be seen. DM checks behind the bookcaseand finds Fishie. DM declares him dead on the scene and prepares to pick him up with a spoon and give him a dignified burial, down the bog.

Sunday September 21 2003, 21:50 hours
As he is picked up, Fishie shows eveidence of life and his hastily thrown back in the fishtank (fileld with cold, chlorinated water).

Sunday September 21 2003, 21:52 hours
After some signs of grogginess, Fishie returns to his normal self and happily swims around his abnormally clean tank as if nothing has happened !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!


Current Status
Fishie is alive and well and seems to have suffered no ill-effects from his ordeal and loves his shiny new fishtank.



My question is: We're off to Florida in about a month. How the **** am I going to kill this bloody thing if I can't starve it and it seems to able to breathe air as well as water...?



I have pics of Fishie if anyone wants them and/or can host.

If you look carefully, you can also see the cracks in the little bastard from where I beat it to death with a mallet, then stuck it together again.

I thought a fitting treatment for the yellow piece of crap would be to be slowly covered in a thick layer of fish poop and algae, so there in the tank it lies.
