Re: Why are subverted ships invincible?

i'm guessing that they're put in to some array or other when they're subverted, so that they can be added to the enemy side to fire. hence they're not in the right place to get killed.

whether making them invincible was for game play reasons, or it was just a 'happy accident' i don't know

Re: Why are subverted ships invincible?

well in theory its "normal" as their own allies don't know the ships are turned against them(thinking real life ofcourse), they only find out till they are actually firing on their m8s, which is ofcourse to late for the other ships to change their targetting to the "allied" ships as they are already locked on to their enemy targets . Its clear and simple

Re: Why are subverted ships invincible?

EMP ships are killed (both the ones freezing and the ones frozen)

Spinner tried to make subverted ships able to be killed, but after implementing that in beta there were numerous battle reports with negative losses and other such weird happenings. Therefore the ability to kill subverted ships was simply removed.
