Useful Links: Round 34
Paste any useful links that you may have, and i shall add them to this post.
This thread is gradually being updated with R2 7 material as i come across it. If you have anything to add, reply below!
Many of the links send you to the Planetarion Wiki (PA Wiki) - this is deliberate, as along with Jesterina and Cheerios, i have been trying to transfer as much helpful material there for general use. Many thanks to those individuals who maintain and contribute to the Wiki.

Re: Useful Links: Round XIV
[]LCH[] has made its parser and covert ops calculator to freely use ready for R14:
http://parser.lch-hq.org
http://ccalc.lch-hq.org
the parser support ALL scans, including galaxy status with outgoing fleets (can be deselected for privacy)
News scans will be recognised too, but still very basic. Updated in the coming weeks

Re: Useful Links: Round 16
Perhaps links to downloadable bcalc code and if anyone has done one public parser code? would be mighty useful especially for newer allainces, and will help increase the number of public tools available...

I thought with the Blazde-type calcs (like Vision's), the code was available by clicking somewhere up at the top - though i dont remember specifically.
Also, i just added the race fleet guides that are available for R16.

Re: Useful Links: Round 17
http://parser.lch-hq.org is now capable of parsing URLS too besides copy/pasting the fleet itself.
Simply paste the url of a scan into the parser and process

p45 hasn't worked for a while, but round21.planetarion.com works (though this should change each round).

Re: Useful Links: Round 23
Found a couple more things that can help out.
This is an all over calculator, does covert-ops, production, research, construction. not sure if it's a mirror of something already there.
http://oizo.pilgerer.org/pa/calc.html
Here are some GreaseMonkey scripts which should work in Opera 9.something as well as Firefox
http://www.webervaring.nl/pa/tools/
And a Firefox extension to turn plain text urls into clickable links
https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/190
If you get around to updating the list can you remove the blern stuff please? I haven't got time to update it any more. Thanks

Re: Useful Links: Round 23
Hi all, many people have asked this round for something that does this, so here it is:
Its a script to add to ure eggdrop bot www.egghelp.org and it allows gal members to paste galaxy status into ure galaxy channel, the bot then relays all of the calls to the correct bot/channel.
Its dead easy to use ya just need an eggy online and use of a mysql db, if you make any revolutionary changes to it then please put a revised version back up in this thread for others to use.

Re: Useful Links: Round 23
I will try to over the next few weeks (b4 next rd) get some alliance helping scripts up, maybe a tcl/mysql defbot, arby and such like.
I know all the big allys got these already, but it might help to give a few of the smaller alliances a helping hand and maybe keep a few more people in pa.
If anyone needs something specific pls pm me (Cisco) on irc and i will see if i can help.

Re: Useful Links: Round 12
I just made a new compilation of my mIRC based attack bot "Warmonger" available to the public (the bot itself has been available for 6 months now or so, just not very much advertised).
http://www.niksula.cs.hut.fi/~tmilmo...c_revision.zip
Download and install (newest) mIRC.
Unzip bot archive into that directory and then check out the readme.txt.
Features include:
-multiple channels and servers (one active attack per channel, same attack CAN be shared on multiple channels which can reside in different networks).
-user access levels for global access to the bot and access level detection based on op status on a channel
-native multi-wave support for 1 tick attacks based on the LANDING tick of the attack (useful for pa-X style attacks)
I might or might not provide user support - try PM'ing in me IRC (Netgamers) and make clear what it is you want to know. The code is distributed under GPL license and comes with absolutely no warranty. Feedback is welcome.
EDIT (February 2006): Looks like it's been 4 rounds since I played Planetarion and a lot has changed. Multi-wave attack support should still work with different fleet ETAs, but !summary might give confusing results.
Edit (January 2009): I believe the bot still does what is needed for Planetarion (been away quite a while). However with new mIRC versions you'll need to copy the script files into a different location, somewhere in documents and settings. Your mIRC is likely to give you pretty descriptive error reports, though.

Re: Useful Links: Round XIII
The Vision parser should be up to date again for r13. Yesterday we installed the updated parser with changes to make it function again like it should. And with the new setup it should load a bit faster aswell.
Currently Supported are:
Planet Scans
Surface Scans
Technology Scans
Unit Scans
Jumpgate Probes
Fleet Scans
Battle Reports
Galaxy status
You can parse as many scans as you like in one go, they will be sorted on coords and scan type and will be displayed under 1 link. Its also possible to hide coords, the hiding function is integrated in all scans and will also alter planet names/scores/values/roidcounts to make it "harder" to track hidden planets.
News scans are not supported, this because they aren't used much by my knowledge and are relatively hard (read time consuming) to implement. And time is something i haven't got to much on my hands at the moment.
