An interesting puzzle/question
Two sets of identical twins, one set male, the other set female, start going out with each other, and eventually have a child each, of the same sex.
Will the two children look identical?
edit: The clever BÁSTARDS on irc inform me that the answer is no (((((

Re: An interesting puzzle/question
No.
One could look like the female, the other may look like the male.

Re: An interesting puzzle/question
it is not a yes/no question, it is a chance-question
for example, the females in this example are largely homozygote, with lots of genes dominantly homozygote while the males are largely homozygote (or hetero, doesn't really matter 'that' much) with lots of recessive genes.
Then there is a bigger chance that the children look a lot like eachother, especially when they are from the same gender.
Chances, chances, chances.

Re: An interesting puzzle/question
Given it is equivalent to the question 'A couple have a child. a while later, the same couple have another child. Will they look the same?' In both situations 2 children are being produced from people with the same genes, but you dont expect siblings to be identical.

Re: An interesting puzzle/question
The real question is if both children were female, how old would they have to be before Dace tried to have sex with them?
If they were both male, the question would be, how old would they be before both of them had refused to have sex with MM?

The recombination of the genetic code in the formation of gametes just increases the random factor, dawg.
