8 week round is too short IMO. Even at this stage ther eis no clear winner in planet rankings :-/

or.... have r14 last 16 weeks with a break in the middle to catch some breath :P, cuz imho 8 weeks is rather short for a round.

Re: Next round
Should start early/mid august. I know many are on vacation etc, and therefore it would be very stupid starting in the middle of the summer vacs.

I prefer two short rounds over one long one. Take, for example, Cathaars this round. They've had a shocker of a round, and this would be exacerbated by a really long round. However, if it was a short round, it wouldnt matter so much as it wouldnt be too far from being able to change race again (and a sooner opportunity for us stat builders to tweak etc).
What might be a good idea is to bundle the credit for the normal PA round with one Speedgame round as well - ie, for the price of 5 pounds for a normal credit, you get a PA planet and a speedgame planet. This way you address any issues with players feeling short changed by two short rounds, and it avoids the free-rider problem associated with making a speedround completely free.
whatcha reckon?

Re: Next round
I would prefer 9 week rounds to 8 week rounds, if they could be fitted into the schedule.
Also personally I wouldn't like r14 to start before 26th/27th of June, but I guess it isn't posible to start a round much before then anyways.

Start a poll on PD, link to it from the overview in the pa screen and see what the general consensus is. If there's no consensus bugger everyone and do what you think will work.

As early?
I think most people would rather the gap between rounds was smaller than the round itself !

Re: Next round
I think you're speaking for yourself there.
Or did you forget the number of us who have exams all the way through june? Then need a good week orso in july to cool down before more PA.

Re: Next round
I've often thought 8 or 9 weeks would be better than 10 weeks, even in rounds I've enjoyed I've felt 10 weeks to be just a little bit too long, and I know I'm not the only one.
