Rooster
Your opinion?
Having just listened to the album, they're on my listening list for a while. They remind me of someone else but I can't for the life of me think who.
Funky though.

Re: Rooster
How DARE you. So not anywhere near busted.
Just go back and compare the lyrical content, then re-evaluate your post.

Re: Rooster
They are better than busted to be fair but i'ld never consider buying their album, going to see them live or sticking any of their songs on my playlist.

Re: Rooster
No.
Busted are plain formulaic pop rock, with incredibly childish lyrics - see Air Hostess for a perfect example of just how foot-knawingly bad they are.
Rooster are blues inspired (by Cream among others, the band Eric Clapton was originally in) which shows through in many tracks, and they appear to be able to play their instruments rather than just jump up and down thrashing them. And the lyrics are several orders of magnitude more mature.

Re: Rooster
Saw them in our student union a couple of months ago, and thought they were pretty good, so I bought their album and I really like it.
Tbh I couldn't give a **** if they are manufactured or not, if the music sounds good I'm happy.
