Duels

So the idea is to have an option to offer somebody duel.
When you offer duel, u choose for how much rounds it will be made: 1/3/5. 12 ticks after accepting the duel is the first battle and its eta will be 4, so uncoverable. It will be normal battle. For winning each round you will get some kind of salvage and something like 15% higher if won in defence. There will be still the normal salvage for defence and there will be no loses from battle in real. The rounds will take place with 12 ticks break between each, so you can build up some ships and etc. Also during duel you will lose 1 slot permanently and wont be able to run any ships.

This idea is mostly for speed games or havoc, but can have place in normal rounds too.

Seems slightly cool but cant be normal salvage for defence without losses. Maybe instead a steal of saved up resources or a bet. That both in the duel put up 500k of each resource, and the one who wins the battle gains the resources.

the idea is good...
but surely no one will accept a duel until they have scanned them... and calced if they can win, which if they are receiving a challenge, they most likely wont. Just because of this i think i wont be used if implemented.
Also if increased salvage is gained then salvage donations become all the easier to do.

So after thinking and talking about the idea on netgamers with friends, it looks like that:

To offer duel you have to put some res in - like (200k each, 300k etc.). The winner takes those resources. When u have been offered to participe in such duel you see how much rounds and res you will fight for and it starts when both have accepted, so noone will be able to fight only with small ones to takes their res, unless they are dumb and accept. Also when in protection can`t participe in duels, nor offer. There will be salvage for the defender, and no reward for winning each round, just the whole duel. So, what you think ?
