Bot planets in 1:1
Why were they added in the first place? Easy roids for new people?
It's a legal way of farming now.
Ships get farmed by ziks, they keep initting to 500 roids iirc. Just 3 wave and there you go, 300 free roids...
Please remove them?

Re: Bot planets in 1:1
Actually they end up being a farm for of all people Cin mostly. He farms the newbie incomming, rather funny really. Personally I don't have a problem with the bots because it does give new players some easier targets, and in a week or two the big players will not be able to hit them.

I hear that TGV organised a whole raid on 1:1 today and sent over 30 fleets.

We had this discussion last round, Sloom.

in a week yes, but right now some of them have t100 roidcounts.......... this is effectively removing the MULTIPLAYER part of the game.

Re: Bot planets in 1:1
Agreed, they do seem to be overperforming a little, especially considering that I doubt they're as good at fleet conservation as real players are,

Re: Bot planets in 1:1

or make it so they don't init past ~200 roids or so. having them go to 400+ is pretty absurd.

Re: Bot planets in 1:1
You'd be better off with more bot planets with fewer roids each.
At present it's a mess, as others said.

Re: Bot planets in 1:1
The bot planets should be free to unitscan etc without the tech. That would actually teach new players the benefit of getting scans...
Besides the unrealistic amount of roids, I think it's great that we have a good inflow of roids into the universe. I would also think only the smaller players should benefit, so only the bottom 50% can attack the bots.

Re: Bot planets in 1:1
Why nerf something which the majority of players can't attack anyway? By the time you land a few attacks you shouldn't be able to attack them, they'll be too low compared to your score.
It can give lower ranking planets a huge boost, assuming they know that the bot planets exist and that Cin doesn't defend them.

If they worked properly, yes. I was top 100 and could roid them, so the vast majority could attack them.

Re: Bot planets in 1:1
hi, just a couple of comments. there was a logic problem with the bots making them init too many roids, that shouldn't happen now. they are a work in progress and we're hoping that the person coding them will manage to get some decent cross defending working on them.
