More seriously, yeah they should be given out upon request, but it's not like if I was excluded I'd want to deny everyone else.

Is it some sort of god-given rule that anyone who gets into a position of power (admin, IT manager, politician, etc) that petty rules become incredibly desirable? Or is it some sort of coincidence?

Or do people of that character gravitate to those sorts of jobs?

I dont get what the problem is really, I mean the only avatar I, and numerous others, had a problem with was MM's and that's going to be the fking one that stays.

They should enable them for everyone. If their arguement is that people could post porn or somesuch thing then its also true they could do this in a post, sig or other way. The solution to this is an instant ban and deletion of the account, they dont stop everyone posting do they?
Well why not apply the same rules to avatars.

Plus this high and mighty attitude of "we know best" really is killing this board.

I have never shown any hatred to PA and especially not to the forums. I stepped down from my position because of my ever increasing work load, which has now dropped to nothing seeing as i have finished uni but nvm, so i'm not bitter about anything.

If someone is going to be blamed for this kindly dont blame me. If the avatars were a problem they would have been cleared up once my powers were removed, as i expected them to be. As was as surprised as anyone when they stayed. Also, it kind of proved my 'allow avatars' campaign while i was mod/admin would have worked if they avatars had been anabled with certain restrictions.


P.S. If i was having a bitter and hatred phase i would have broken my official secrets act thingy but i'm not like some of the people that have left PA team in the past, i'm a nice guy .

I had my P1 maths exam today. I was formulating ideas for what the "P" stands for - the most logical was "Pointless" - others include S1 - "Stupid/Shit" and "M1" - "Manboobs"

What would A2 derive to...? I wonder...

I don't see the justification in removing the avatars. They generally weren't harming anyone, they weren't being disruptive and by going against what the public wants - they were on an "activation" kinda status meaning JC controlled what avatars people were being given - so nothing literally against the boards rules was expressed.

It's amazing the lengths people go to in-order achieve record-breaking unpopularity levels.

My teacher was/is shit at teaching it though. He starts onto one portion of a chapter than wafts through to another completely irrelevant topic then goes back to the original and so fourth. About nearly every single formula given in the formula book we have never been taught how to use - bar a few.

It's not really the module's fault then; there are some hideous flaws with them, but 'We didn't get taught it very well' isn't really something to complain to AQA or Edexcel about.

Im looking into why they were removed but i believe its to do with an imminent upgrade and change over of how the game and forums are interelated. (this has been in the pipeline for about a year now).
