Re: Classic films
Cheers people.
To define what I meant (and I don't care if classic is the wrong word, i'm not a bloody english student):
Good/Great films that I should really watch and have been around for a few years.
Some great suggestions tho that I had completely forgotton about!

Re: Classic films
millions agree with me.
+ it just IS, the wondrousousity of the songs and the truly classic storyline. The animations alright though.
P.S i notice you didnt take umbridge with my putting alladdin as a classic, so it cant just be anti disney nazism.

From a 'film' standpoint, the best of the 'recent' Disney animations is Beauty and the Beast, although The Lion King, Alladin and the like (until we move onto things like The Hunchback of Notre Dame) have high production values as well.

Re: Classic films
i disagree with your points.
beauty and the beast was boring. + it was a fairly linear twistless storyline.
also the songs werent as good as alladdin and lion king. Not by a long chalk.

i've seen lion king at the cinema when i was a kid and what i remember of it is that it bored me to death. the music was of good quality but not the kind i'd listen to on my cd player (neither back then nor now).
as far as disney movies go it's mediocre at best.

Mediocre (for disney films) is extremely mediocre.
The Lion King only falls into that category if you only include the 5 or so made between the mid 80's and mid 90's. If you count in the more recent ones from the main studios, the straight to video ones, and the like, I've no idea how you can criticise the lion king.
