basicly he doesnt want to move

i pointed out that the punishment wishmaster got for a banner containing porn was disproporional to what other got in the past

but biffy feels that if someone does something bad enough they shouldn't be let off simply because the precedent suggests they should
so basicly all punishment is now up to the andmin in charge and what he thinks of you

i pointed out this is class-judgement where 2 people doing the same thing get diferent punishment

my opinion is that ALL people that display porn in a online game should be baned (and they are in the game i admin for now) but if you are gonna ban some, i think your on the wrong track

this is what i am gonna mail to biffys boss in the morning, but i think biffy will intercept it again (like he did last time)

anyway, this lies @ the source of all things going wrong in PA, biffy cant admit when he's wrong

Max I think you miss the point. If you read any of the last thread you will see that some 1up players disaggree with the closure and some aggree. Its not generic. Im sure its the same for every other alliance, even your own members. This isnt an alliance matter. Its a player/admin matter. I have seen more support on these forums from 1up members towards wishmaster, than I have from eXiltion members.

In fact in general 1up members go into great depth looking at the case in hand, where as we then have your post. Its not constructive nor is it needed. So come on grow up. If you believe what wish did wasnt wrong then say it. Dont bring 1up into it as we didnt do anything.

More abuse so I'm closing it.

The fact is that the image was vile enough to be closed for - whether you consider it be something more serious or not. If it was men instead of children watching the porn in the picture then perhaps it would have resulted in a warning rather than a closing, though we still would have been within our rights to do both as it clearly violates the T&Cs.

To Wishmaster - I appreciate that what you did you did because you thought it would in some way be funny without actually thinking through your actions or the content of the picture. Whether or not the image is in fact "child porn" is a matter for the laws of your country and if they deem it not to be I apologise to you for suggesting otherwise. Certainly the laws of popular opinion on these forums seem to be on your side over that particular fact.

Either way, as I said earlier it doesn't change the fact that the picture breaks a number of our T&Cs and therefore warrants closure, even if other images in the past that could be comparable in their vulgarity have not met with such punishment. What this incident has done is highlighted the need for better regulation & monitoring of gal pics which we will be implementing as soon as possible.
