am i spoilt?
its my 18th birthday on 25th of april yet my mum has already bought me a £5000 Mazda(passed my test 2 days ago) and a £300 leather jacket :\
anyway point about the Mazda her insurance company are offering us £2200 a year insurance for the both of us, this is ridiculous, does anyone know any good insurance companies on the net or by phone number?

will quote under a grand.
they did for my car (first car infact) and i bought it for more than 5k. however its insurance group was only a measly 3 or 4 or summing. so if yours is higher there 'may be no hope'

sounds ok'ish but is that just for me or for my mum and I? also if she was first driver and i was secondary driver what type of price do you think it would be roughly?

the car is worth more than 5grand.
£1k excess on policy.
i was named driver
dad was 'primary' drivers
fully comp
it came to just under a grand a year.
thats the lowest we found after much hunting around.
depends on the age of your car too btw

If you're a student try Endsleigh www.endsleigh.co.uk i think... there'll be one at your local students union probably...
oh and it would be better to insure yourself as main driver so then you can build up your own no-claims discount. (so long as you dont crash of course). my insurance dropped by more than half in two years.

How old were you though? When I was 18 it cost me £860 just for TPFT on a car that cost £200...

im 17(18 in 2 weeks) and yes im a student so have been turned down by several insurance companies!!!

Endsleigh do discounts for students. if you're going fully comp - the higher the excess the less you have to pay and always say you're putting your car on a drive.
