My silent protest to the oncoming War

As a protest to this war I vow that I will never in my life buy an expencive Cadillac.

Well.

Any cadillac at all, I guess.

Unless of course we get a new and friendlier US government.

So to be more precise, I vow not to buy a cadillac while there still reigns an, IMHO, unfriendly government in the US.

And now it's all more complicated. That's always what happens when women get involved.

I'd join you in your protest, but I don't care and have better things to do.

Godwin's Law prov. [Usenet] "As a Usenet discussion grows longer, the probability of a comparison involving Nazis or Hitler approaches one." There is a tradition in many groups that, once this occurs, that thread is over, and whoever mentioned the Nazis has automatically lost whatever argument was in progress. Godwin's Law thus practically guarantees the existence of an upper bound on thread length in those groups. However there is also a widely- recognized codicil that any intentional triggering of Godwin's Law in order to invoke its thread-ending effects will be unsuccessful.
