Norway is aiding in the 'war against terror'
Three - 3 - ships are being sent to the Mediterranean to patrol the Strait of Gibraltar, alert for small boats that house terrorists.
It seems so stupid. Our minister of defence seems quite pathetic as the tells us that we are helping fighting the war against terror. She seemed all 'we're down playing with the big boys, whee!'.
I don't understand why we need an army anyway. We can just hire mercenaries from space with our oil money should the need for men at arms arise.

On July 24, 1704, during the War of the Spanish Succession, Gibraltar was captured by combined English and Dutch forces. In 1830, Gibraltar was named a crown colony.
Ceded to Britain in perpetuity by the Treaty of Utretcht in 1713, Gibraltar's sovereignty is assured by the Gibraltar Constitution, in which Britain undertakes never to enter into arrangements which would place the people of Gibraltar under the sovereignty of another state against their freely and democratically expressed wishes.
