Re: Oh the shame
At least he didn't tell you he was a Tory supporter, or a Lib Dem supporter. Than you'd really have something to be ashamed of.

If he was a tory, I could say he had self interest (earning over 50k per year before tax). If he was a lib dem he could just be a loon, but he's labour. There's no excuse

Re: Oh the shame
My mother told our Conservative MP (a Knight, no less) that she was a Socialist when he asked if he could count on her vote.
I don't think he'll be knocking on our door again.

if you mean a general election then no, that should be in 2005... around May sometime as Labour came into power on june 3rd 1997, and general elections are every 4 years unless the PM brings it closer.
that date is just about the only political fact i know, and only because my parents were telling me how they were going to vote, and it was being harped on about at school for weeks because they were trying to teach us a load of shite about it when it happened... i cant get it out of friggin head now

Re: Oh the shame
How do you think he feels? You're a BNP suporter, aren't you?
Anyway, this is all a laod of nonsense.
The next GE could be anytime up to 2006. Oh and that political compass thing is shiet, at least in where it places the leaders. The fact that somebody has gone 'Hmmm, Ghandi, well he's good, so let's place him to the left. Oh, Blair, FOUL BEAST, FOUL MAN, he's on teh right' is fairly bloody obvious, all things considered.
