Elysium and NO R11

Dear Elysians and Friends,
This is a sad day in Elysium`s history,
for the first time there will be a round of Planetarion
(since birth in R2) without Elysium participating.

After Ely`s birth in the end of Round 2, we have always been
playing a part of the politics, the wars, the suffering and the winning in Planetarion.
But not anymore, from this day on we won't be around
and we won't play as Elysium.

There might still be a few calling
themselves Ely and play as a group of friends,
you want to tag along with us, talk to me on Irc.

There are many reasons why this is happening,
I will mention only a few of them.

First of all our Command is tired, we have
been fighting in the Planetarion universe for
many rounds, but our dedication seems to
have gone into a little minefield.

Next is of course the lack of new players in
Pa universe and therefore we lack the new
hungry players to come up and take the free
slots when someone in Command retires.
Just keep in mind that the core of this alliance
is from the times when Pa was at its 4th and
fifth rounds.

We announce this so early to the entire Universe
that we give all of our remaining members
a fair chance to get into a new decent alliance.

I've known Ely for awhile and Have being a Member in Planetarion and DoM during my PA years
it is with a very sad heart I say goodbye to them in Planetarion and wish them the best of luck in any other games they branch out into

Elysium was my home for a long time and now one period in my PA career is over. Was a pleasure to be part of such a closeknit community. I would like to thank all old and current members for all their hard work.

Im sadly to see an alliance, such as Elysium go from the planetarion community.
Altho I can also perfectly understand it. I sure hope that the members of Elysium will
find another alliance, or create one for the comming rounds. Be cause you are highly wanted/needed/loved
in this game community. Being an ally of you this round, with the pressure on you most of the time, I must say I am still surprised that you kept it going for this long. My respect for that. And if EVER needed, dont be shy to come to VisioN if you need help in anything.(and that goes to all Elysium members aswell ofc.!)
I wish all the best, and would like to thank you for the good years of fun you shared (and given) with us. Also I would like to thank you for providing probably THE ultimate tools page ever for planetarion.

I've been Elysium during r9, met some nice pple there and generally got along with most of the command. I will not hide I'm not their favourite person nor are they my favourite alliance, yet it's still a sad thing to see an old alliance leave PA.

Though I'm sure we'll see some of them still around, just in other alliances.

Well due some things that aren't sure about the 75 members limmit, I doubt many can already join other alliances. (or at least the less known players can't cuz alliance mainly allow good players now ofcourse). So most likely they will either stop playing Planetarion or join the friends tag that was noticed in this thread.

This is a surprise sad to see you go Elysium, had a great time being an Elysian in round 10 fighting vs the evil FAnG Ended with my personal best ranked gal (6th) and personal best planet of 121st (dont laugh, lol). Ely was a nice home til the end, and blah blah blah, still there's a nice community there and i hope you all dont quit pa now.

Pa will be a little less fulfilling without you around.

Really sad news to see my alliance stop playing the game where we started, but it was hardly unexpected. Cant say Elysium enjoyed last round and I fully support the decision to leave. Last round showed us that planetarion isn't what its supposed to be when its somehow accepted to see 3 alliances totally dominate the round from tick 1 without willing to fight a real war, gg guys.

This wont be the end of Elysium, we will continue in another webbased game and are able to fully focus there. Besides that we hope to have reasonable sized group of gamers to play WoW when it gets released in september.

I was in elysium for a small while only, but I would like to say that it does sadden me aswell to not be able to fight against you guys nemore

I would also like to say that in the old times, there was no such a thing as lack of players.... here I would like to give a "little push"

- is the internet becoming smaller? (heck no, its growing on friggin daily basis).... or is it only a problem with the game...

do people no longer find the game attractive and addictive???

i really think that this should be taken up with jolt.....

But in either case, I have been saying this for 3 rounds and noone listened


maybe it is time for someone to take action? (/me points at Spinner, and the rest of the crew)
perhaps the old planetarians could be attracted back somehow???
The game needs a change??
