Back To Hell
Ok, you're dead. You're in hell. You have one way out.
The Grim Reaper offers you a game. A game of your choice. You win, you get to return to the mortal realm. You lose, you live in Hell for eternity.
Which game would you chose to play him at.
You can't pick computer games, as with the exception of Champ Man and C&C, they're all for kids with adolescent odour and skin problems. (Yes, you can choose them Deepflow)
I'd go for Monopoly.

Re: Back To Hell
Well, assuming that I could pick any game at all it would have to be "first to not be the Grim Reaper" or something equally hilarious.
If I'm not allowed to be a smartarse then probably go, if the grim reaper isnt some huge genius at every game.
Failing that, snakes and ladders.

Re: Back To Hell
you've just been watching Bill and Ted haven't you!
What happened to your dinner party?
I wouldn't play anything involving luck I don't think... I wouldn't trust the Grim Reaper not to cheat
Maybe some kind of physical game, I wouldn't expect him to be very athletic...

Re: Back To Hell
I thought it was something to do with drugs, but once i read what he said i knew what he meant..
and i agree with horn, the grim reaper would surely win in pretty much any game, or at least have an advantage.

I've just realised in this case all the reaper would have to do would be to say "i was not the grim reaper for a certain period before you were born" and win if i failed to set the parameters of the game strictly enough.
the cad.

No, we're assuming he's the ****ing Grim Reaper, in all his immortal and all powerful glory.
So stop trying to pussy foot out of it and think of something you're good at.
Don't worry, this thread is backed up with the rest of it so you've as long as you need to think about it.

Me and a mate from work played that in the middle of the bar up the road from the office one friday night after a game of Golden Tee ended up with the two of us tied eleven under par and no more pound coins for a playoff.
Two grown men in a bar getting very excited about rock paper sissors was apparently somewhat comical for the others to watch.

Some game which purely relies on luck (as im sure the Grim Reaper has a better understanding of every game invented etc) ... give me a bit of time and i'm sure i'll think of something (maybe).

Re: Back To Hell
Clearly since he is always portrayed as a master of strategy, and clearly has been around for eons...so plenty of time to practice various things, I'd roshambo him for it. Kick him right in the nuts then leg it.
That is, if he has nuts.
If not, then my broken foot would probably slow me down.

Re: Back To Hell
A fight to the death.
Or failing that, Chess. I'm not particularly good and I'd presume he'd win easily but I'd prefer to think if I was going to boil in hell for all eternity it'd be due to my own skills (or lack thereof) and not because he got lucky.
I'd play him at Risk, but it's a bit pointless with only two players. If the other 3 horsemen joined in then that'd be my choice.

Ok, so firstly I didn't actually call you a pussy. I said you were pussy footing around, which is a term we use to say someone is avoiding the subject matter for whatever reason.
Secondly - Yes, it is ok to neg rep back. Although usually I don't, as demonstrated by the fact tonight was the first time i can recall ever having given neg rep.
Thirdly, I have Repeal Rep in my signature for the fact that all reputation ever does is create things like this.
Fourthly, I can't be arsed to click on your little link, but I'm sure whatever it is was worth the effort of going and finding. I'm sure it has something to do with me complaining about neg rep or similar. Great. Yay. Woohoo. Whatever.
Finally, **** off.
