But why should we have a forum full of near identical posts that really do very little to help people choose an alliance. If every single new alliance ends up with basically the same post what reason do they give anyone to join them.
I mean seriously if we have
Quote:
Name: Alliance A
IRC: #alliancea
Other: We require a decent level of IRC activity from all members

and then

Name: Alliance B
IRC: #allianceb
Other: Applicants need to be IRC active

how do you decide which alliance to join, they would be 'recruitment thread by numbers' and lack any charachter and hence lack any real use for people looking for an alliance to join. It doesnt have to be pages long but does need to give people a reason to join you rather than someone else
And lets be honest here, if a hc member cant find 30-60 mins over a handful of days to read AR to pick up tips and then throw their own thread together they may as well quit before they even start. For a new alliance the most important thing is to get members and recruitement should be a top priority and if they dont have the time to do this part well they simply dont have the time to run an alliance and they are about to dupe a handful of innocent players into getting tied up in a failed project that causes them harm
