Micheal's babie
So the only news I've heard is that it was was born this morning about about half five and it was 3 pounds four ounces. Or posinly the other way around. Can't really remember. Anyone got any more information?
btw, it has been named as Alastair, as per their intentions for some time now.

Re: Micheal's babie
Thats all I heard too. He's probably a little busy to post on here just now.
I got all worried when both of our mobiles got a text at about half six in the morning! Was relieved to see it was something good!

Re: Micheal's babie
Having just checked back it appears that hes arrived about 2 months early, which would explain why he is a bit of a lightweight. I was 9lb something when I was born so he is kinda small. My brother was about that weight though and hes grown up just fine.
I sent back our best wishes this morning, and hopefully the new dad will be able to update us soon on the health of all involved.

I don't want to be a partypooper, but 2 months early is awefully early.
Let me do some medical google, but 2 months early, can't be good.
Best wishes though to RR

They can help them through now from about 3 months early, I think to any decent hospital these days 2 months is no biggie.

My uncle&aunt on my fathers side had their last child born two months early. She was so small and fragile. It seemed unnatural that she would survive in a way. She have had small problems with ears and eyes, but nothing very serious.
Today she is 14, and is uberleet at CS. Im not joking. She even has her own clan. And she definitvly speaks the language of leet.
edit: I forgot to add a big CONGRATULATIONS!!!
(and no, I don't hate children fs)

Oh and one of my best friends was 2 months early, was less than 4 pounds. Now the bastard is like 6ft 2 and can regularly stroll through brick walls without so much as a pause.

should help reduce 'bucket fanny syndrome'
otherwise i expect it was all rather nerve wracking for dear RR: premature birth of first child? probably took a good few years off his life.

I should have been born on Valentines Day. Instead I was 'removed' on 2nd December.
My weight was equivalent to one bag of sugar.

Please tell her that I'm sure she looks wonderful now she's not fat.
I still feel bad about that comment
edit: not that she didn't look wonderful before she was fat
edit 2: not fat, i mean, you know, pregnant and stuff
edit 3: **** it, get me a shovel.

2 months early would be 8 weeks early, wich is after a pregnacy of 32 weeks..
They keep babys alive after pregnacy's of 25 weeks nowadays, so 32 weeks is small but will go well most likely

Re: Micheal's babie
k i've been waiting for quite some time now and i'm giving up.
is it a boy or a girl?
we don't have 'alastair's over here, so that doesn't help. and the fact that nantoz wants to have sex with it doesn't help either.
i'm impressed that this thread has gotten this long without a 'she' or a 'he' ("it", "child", "baby", "it", "kid", "tyke", "baby", "kid", "it", "baby", "child", and "baby" have been used)

Congratulations on the little Roadrunner. Roadrunners are fast. They always get places quickly. If he could have advanced his time table by just a few hours, I would have been happy to share my birthday.
Oh, btw, what else did you get for Christmas last year?
