Pretty much all programs come with functions I will not ever use. As long as they do not add unnecessary size to the program, slow the program down, get in my way or otherwise hamper the functionality of the program, that program can have as many functions as it wants.
I've not tried out this preview of Opera yet, so thanks for the heads up. With torrents becoming a more and more popular way of distributing files, especially legally, it seems a pretty logical step to integrate a torrent client into the browser itself. Especially for less demanding users who may not know how torrent files work, or are not web-savvy enough to find their way to a decent BT client, this may be a useful addition.
And Newsbot3, Opera has always profiled itself as an Internet Suite or at least been doing so for a long time, so complaints that they are adding things that aren't a browser are pretty much unfounded.
