benefits of war
probably been suggested before but:
why not increase the max cap on attacks if the 2 planets are in alliance that have declared war ingame? nothing major maybe just 30% max rather than 25%.
maybe with a minimum time period if both alliances accept war?
maybe even have a 5%/10% increase for landing on an "at war" planet?

but wouldnt bigger alliances just declare war on a smaller alliance and enjoy a better farming income???

Then the losing or weaker alliance would simply refuse to accept the war.

which can be easily fixed by setting a minimum war time like 1 week.

Sounds interesting...
I like it.. Say ND and CT went to war both alliances were doing ok, and then ND overpowers them CT would then cancel relations and effectively win the war.
It means it would allow the pa community to do a lot of pointing and laughing

War is PA is very rarely 1v1, that's why this system would never work. You'll never accept a war from a block of alliances nor would you give the opposition an advantage by accepting one of requests.
It also doesn't really make any benefits to war, as the main problem with war is that its easily to fence and gain roids without being targeted, increasing the cap limit doesn't change the fact that they're now being targeted and some planets are going to lose roids/morale.

it would work if the "alliance points" system was developed. so you got more during war and if you "won" a war you would get a bonus etc. would mean removing normal score from alliances completely.

You would need something for the alliances to "fight" for.
Such as a flag that gives the whole alliance a bonus in certain things like attack, defence, mining, remember any suggestions will be limited to current PA code.
I would prefer a universe based conquest addon, where alliances must keep control of territory, and this gives them the bonus's.
