I should have done this before
I'm going to a wedding tonight. My best friend's wedding*.
Any advice apart from not getting drunk, not getting off with the groom's missus and starting a fight?
*No not the film
P.S. It's not a big, fat greek wedding either.

take a sedative. Weddings are as dull as hell.

Treat it as a party. One with certain obligations attached to it, but a party nonetheless.

Screw the bridemaids. They'll be up for it, all bridemaids are.

Re: I should have done this before
- Look up some kind of 2 or 3 line quote to write down in case they have some book where they want every participant to sign and write something into.
- think about a good excuse in advance if you dont want to dance - some ppl at weddings are very pushy about this
Obviously have a decent present and dress up "right".

Re: I should have done this before
as you aren't up for the groom's missus, why not go for the groom?

Re: I should have done this before
its your duty to be hungover, and then extremely drunk, so bad indeed, that the groom looks like a saint in comparison.

Re: I should have done this before
Get insanely, outrageously drunk and make a fool out of yourself so they have something to talk about other than how ****ing boring the wedding was.

Re: I should have done this before
I've never been to a wedding so the only realistic advice I can give you is to shout out "ME!!" when they ask if anyone has an objection to them getting married.
Then of course, jump naked through the wedding cake, try to cop off with the groom's mother, and run out of the door.

I wholeheartedly endorse this course of action.
