Re: Best advertising campaign ever
I have a MySpace account.
On topic, I hope the people who designed that advert die of AIDS.

Re: Best advertising campaign ever
Why? AIDS is a relatively painless way to die. As long as you're secretive and swap sexual partners and addresses frequently it has no significant effect on your lifestyle either. It truly is the disease that other people have to worry about.

While never having actually watched someone die of AIDS it didn't look like that much fun in that tom hanks film.

Tom Hanks is second only to Bill Murray in his ability to cover everything he touches with a thin film of greasy, after-curry shit. Thus I am reluctant to assume that film is an accurate reflection of how the average person would react. If I remember rightly he was more worried about getting promoted than getting laid, which is hardly sane behaviour for someone with a limited shelf-life.
Plus I'd bet the drugs are better now, that film is pretty old.

Erm, AIDS doesn't kill itself, but it can cause fever, weightloss, tiredness and several pains
it can also attack your nerve system and cause infections to the brain
but it's just a matter of time until you catch a regular desease that will kill you
unless you get some 'awesome' treatment in an early stage ofcourse

I'm not sure what you mean by "relatively". Relative to dying in your sleep? Relative to have your bollocks ripped off by a pack of rabid dogs? But anyway, I don't want people to suffer unnecessarily, dude.
I'd just like them to be dependent on some chemical crap for the rest of their lives.

Now if it were a hair colouring product being advertised like this;

Just as your girlfriend what to do. Oh, thats right, you dont have a girlfriend you ginger tosser.
that would be the best advertising campaign ever.

Green spit, I apologise for my actions in this thread. Morally I have been no better than a playground bully, and stylistically only a little.

MySpace allows me to see various pictures of semi-clothed semi-legal emotionally disturbed girls. I consider registration the best 30 seconds I have ever spent.

Re: Best advertising campaign ever
I don't have a myspace account.
You all remind me of that evil radio advert thing.
It has a girl talking about her new dress "online", and then another girl saying how cool it was, then this deep guys voice going "yes, yes it's nice".

The upshot of all this is that this thread used to make me look childish, now it makes me look insane
I'm not sure which I prefer.
