Is this sad? :-\
Today I finished my homework early, and had nothing to do. I went on AIM, and my girlfriend was on but away (this was around 6:30pm). I started leaving msgs and continued doing so until 9:30 (not constantly, but for the majority of the time) when she came back and said I had left 1170 msgs. Sad or not?

First of all, thankfully neither of us use AOL as our internet connection.  I just like the messenger service better then Yahoo and ICQ. And she was at her grandparents...it's not like I could have seen her instead of leaving messages..

that is one message every ten seconds on average, and if you didn't do it constantly, you must have been doing it every 4-5 seconds at some points to keep up. Do you have epilepsy or something?

Ahaha...you think we sat there and counted? That would be even worse then leaving that number of msgs.  There's a count of how many msgs are left by each person while you're away on the AIM away msg window.

that is quite sad yes.
I had little short of 250.000 icq messages containing a lot of conversation with my ex stored on my hd. It's been a while though and I couldn't be bothered saving it for future readage when I formatted my hd.
