Just a basic change to teh stats... But why not have corsairs shoot cruisers instead?

As it is, zikonians are easy prey for Ziks and Cathaar with cruisers, Terrans with destroyers, and, to a lesser extent, xandathrii with bomber/sabre (and perhaps fireblade) combo...

Anyhow, ziks would this way have decent chances against fighter and corvette fleets, and a way of hurting other ziks and caths (though other ziks could flak through in the same way as xans send pulsars v. pegs, and terrans pegs v. pulsars; this time rogue v. corsair)

Ziks would still be hideously vulnerable to destroyers, keeping terrans as their main weakness... Though this may perhaps be unbalancing in terms of alliance defence, especially towards cath :/

Corsairs are a very important weapon to defend Terrans against Xandraatii. Changing them like that would make Xandraatii even stronger.

well... that would make cruiser attacks even harder, seeing as there is eta 7 ships killing cruisers available for def. So I think it would be a bad idea, caths would have to send bunches of scorpions to make sure, while Ziks would have to hope the defender sends away his corsairs and atleast doesnt get those for def. Then again, you would need a very large number of corsairs for there to be a point having them. I must admit, there are better ways to deal with this than making the corsairs anti cruiser atleast.... not to forget that corsairs are already very very very important as anti xan ships.

Oh well, looks like non-alliance ziks are in for another round of complete and painful sodomy, more so than their terran and xandathrii brothers atleast....
