What's your Terran fleet?

Heh, that's like saying don't build peacekeepers because terrans are likely to bring loads of dragons with them. As a terran I can only hope people are following Gate's advice!

My chimeras have helped me, my galaxy mates, and my alliance members lots of times.

And not only that, they're great to bring along your DE pod fleet too (if you have one), as they scare away wyverns (tables are turned ).

My fleet, before running it into sjor's planet:

Ships (10,275 total)
Phoenix 3,500 Gryphon 1,000
Drake 1,600 Pegasus 1,500
Chimera 1,250 Syren 175
Wyvern 400 Dragon 550
Demeter 200 Leviathan 100

As can be seen, I caved in and started to build drakes instead of syrens. Had mostly Xan FR incomings in the end, which I guess is because most Ziks ended up being too big to attack me.

I mostly started building dragons towards the end for end of round pleasure suicide But i think they are next best ships after levs because they scare xans so much and so easily when attacking them
And they make excellent anti cru defence against cats.

No phoenixes as I had no light factory. You can't deny the Ziks in your gal some beetles.

I had a variation of attack fleets. Against Cathaar I usually attacked with De+1 Syren. This tactic worked very well, although I later had to find other targets when cathaar targets got scarce.
A second option was Bs. This worked best when accompanied by a Zik with pirates.
My third option was pure De when I didn't want to get up another hour earlier to be able to send a De+Syren fleet. Pure De often got defended.
Finally De/Bs against ziks with Marauders for anti De and Pirates against Bs. Quite a devastating fleet.
I built more Syrens to be able to do a De/Cr attack against ziks (possibly teaming up with a Zik), but never used it.

Just on a side note a very rarely attacked cat think maybe once or twice :/
I prefered to attack xans as they actually had some roids.

This was me.

If I could play the round over again I would probably cut back on my destroyers and build a battleship roiding fleet too. This would allow me to spend a higher proportion of my resources on attacking ships and also give me more targets to attack, instead of just the ones that were low on anti-DE. This is probably what I will do next round, unless one of the Terran roiding fleets is incredibly shit of course.
I would also have diversified a lot sooner. I did not start building phoenixes, dragons and syrens this round until I had about 2.5mil value. This meant that a lot of cruiser and corvette fleets landed on me when I should have been prepared against them. This would probably have saved me a few thousand roids.

All in all though I enjoyed being Terran and I hope the targetting next round rocks for them as much as it did this round.
