The formula for score is given as:

Score = (((xp*300)+(value*5))/5)

It is better written as:

Code:

Score = (xp*60) + value

The results given by that formula are correct, eventhough they are progammed differently into the game (but that's not the concern of anyone playing the game). So I'd just change it in the manual.

Considering the rounding that may occur it might be best to present both in the manual, one for simplicity and one for accuracy.

there will never be a rounding issue as score/value/xp are all integers, so given that in the in game formula both have a factor of 5 it will divide perfectly.

However, this again begs the question as to why the simple version isn't in the manual.

tweakability. the xp formula as it is now is not what it was at one point. its just as it is now, the formula can be simplfied.
the one on the manual is as the formula stands in the game code ( the formatting where it was tweaked )
