Def Scanning
Currently it's possible for a scanner to scan a whole galaxy, or pick and choose who in the galaxy to scan or not scan with the click of one button.
Why can't alliances on their def page pick an eta wave and do a mass scan of every attacking fleet in that eta range. The scanner could pick say all of eta 7, but then limit who they don't want to scan by clicking a selection box. Then from a drop down menu choose the scan type they want, i.e. Advanced Unit.
The current system doesn't allow for group scans. The scanner has to one at a time select a planet and scan type. If we can do it with specific galaxy scans, why not with specific eta's on the in game def screen for an alliance.
Maybe we're making it too simple, but it's going to happen anyway. The down side is the load it would put on the game at the start of each tic. Instead of each scan happening one at a time each alliance could be executing multiple scans. It's possible the servers can't handle that load and it might bring down or slow to a crawl PA. That no one would know without extensive testing. The concept seems sound, the execution may be impractial.
It's just an idea. I get so few.
