Well vision looks like they are set, with a 13k roidlead, god knows why newdawn did it. I place my bets on ND taking revenge on Apprime for roiding LordN today, even though that dudes big mouth was asking for it

Re: Vision/newdawn nap
So whoever is in charge, rather hit cardi/apprime then hitting Newdawn or vision, the two main competitors for #1 tag?
This is ****ing outrageous. I hope all the other alliances make peace and bang the shit out of vision/ND for this. If not, this round is over and tick 600ish is a bit early for this round to stagnate.

Re: Vision/newdawn nap
I just heard that ND gave up the war against vision, and thats the reason we have a NAP between #1 and #2 ally at tick 600. ****ing giving up half way.
I vote we go to war against vision to give Newdawn a chance to get back into game again. After all, the only reason Apprime hit ND was to roid that bigmouth LordN!

Re: Vision/newdawn nap
Dudes i don't play this round, I just have a covop planet which i occasionally use when someone asks me to, or when Theam has lowered his security.
So believe me when i say that my objective opinion is that in no round, should the #1 and #2 alliance NAP each other after a half played round. They are also the 2 alliances with the biggest tags, where the #1 alliance has a roid lead of 13k!!!
If they want to join forces and farm everyone for the rest of the round, then they are relying on the stupidness of Asc/Apprime/CT/p3ng/DLR.
As long as any of the 5 alliances mentioned, hit each other instead of looking further up on the rankings, then this round have stagnated already, and will make the Asc/xVx nap in r31 look like a rollercoaster.

Re: Vision/newdawn nap
I'd like to clarify something, just bcus Vision has napped ND.. does not mean Vision doesnt love you or that Vision prefers ND over you. Vision loves each and every one of you, in its own special way.
and calm it down Hanzi, for someone not playing this round.. you seem to be going emo alot.

Ive stated my opinion on this matter, and if i do something about it or not, is none of your concern. Apprime has been at war since its foundation. Actually thinking members of Apprime are pissing their pants, is a wishful thought
With my post, I was hoping maybe someone grow some balls to fight stagnation, because as far as i have witnessed, only Apprime has been hitting top planets and gals in order to prevent this. Its the path Apprime has chosen, and apparently these top players/gals have enough influence on their alliance, to make revenge the priority over anything else.

Given that ND don't seem to be overly keen on going for #1, particularly if it means they have to beat themselves against vision while everyone else gets fat, it makes sense from that perspective. OH WOE IS SOMEONE WATCHING THEIR LOGIC COME BACK TO BITE THEM IN THE ASS.

I dunno if this is actually just ignorance or you're lying through your ass but either way I am in lol. Cardi was pming me from day one asking me to nap in order to hit DLR (hi DLR, surprise surprise cardi doesn't actually like you that much). However unlike cardi (lol 1 on 1 war r33) I'm actually honest and as I said we'd hit fence gals and avoid getting involved this round unless provoked that's what we went for. Either way apprime exploited DLR's fears (hi dlr, unjustified, we'd never have made permanent agreements with apprime, or anyone, to hit you this round) about an ascendancy/apprime block based on one night's targeting of a vaguely DLR gal (hi dlr, we'd worked with everyone and anyone to hit anyone) and dlr/app NAPed for the rest of the round and then co-operated on targeting. Blockity blockity block between the #1 and #2 average size alliances. Queue everyone else beginning to worry.
Either way you're ****ed (and maybe ascendancy is too in fairness). Regardless lol at your shit politics. Maybe thinking beyond one move ahead might be a good idea in future.
Edit: cardi has, i think correctly, reminded me that he didn't ask to nap, he just asked to rape DLR. So my bad there.
Double edit: lol at hanzi

Re: Vision/newdawn nap
Once DLR and Apprime started fighting against Ascendancy NewDawn's choice of allies able and willing to help them in a war against VisioN shrank to practically nil. The aid of any one of those three could have turned ND's chances against VsN around, so well blame the current war for there not being more war perhaps.

That was likely a apprime member impersonating me so yeah, sent a msg to IRC admins about it and the ingame chat addy what was used for it but I believe it's legal as he wasn't registered as me so doubt anything comes out of it. Just some old and low tactics reinvented in pa thanks to the situations when people get desperate for roids.
About the NAP , Sadly it didn't come sooner so we could have roided another fi/co alliance earlier and honestly I would have liked to fight vsn for my roids back again as they'r anti-bs is fr/de what's quite useless vs emp bs's but as alliance decision it had to be done and now it's some other alliances turn to cover our bs fleets.
Maximillian , safe in DLR galaxy.. stop the bulls:ing you know as well as I do, that I don't do fences but you can't fight DLR without aproval of your HC's.

This is FUN!
So i guess this is how things will go:
ND will try to get back at App for hitting LordN
Vision will go for easy roids
DLR will hit Asc back now that ND and Vision are doing their own thing.
Man, i wish my fleet wasn't that shit and that i could actually attack

Re: Vision/newdawn nap
Without actually knowing that much about politics this round, I dare myself to point out some obvious comparisons to previous rounds.
The round is over half played, and this is a time of the round where we can see hints on what alliances seems likely to win and/or dominate.
What strikes me is that in the previous 6 rounds, Apprime and Ascendancy have been in worse positions then Vision currently is. So what I'm wondering is of course; when is the block forming to take them down, before they ruin the round for everyone? This argument has been formed against the top alliance 6 rounds in a row, why not now?

100% of people polled in a vision funded survey inside the vision private channel said that its due to vision being a likable and lovable alliance.
or they could be wrong and its due to Vision not being a 'supreme' alliance which can only be beaten by a universe block and will completly outroid and outplay everyone else.

Re: Vision/newdawn nap
Well first off we're in stagnation that is hugely benefiting vision due to the political dealings that have been going on (see also here)
Secondly, if you're a not great alliance and Vision run away with it, they aren't likely to roid you to the ground in their spare time. While Apprime, DLR and Ascendancy probably are.
But in my mind the first point is more important than the second. Until someone changes the politics round then we'll continue seeing Vision sailing into the distance. My problem is that I don't see much incentive to change given galaxy layouts and the interests of some galaxies that contain key vision planets amongst other major players. The alliance most likely to change the game is DLR, but even then, I don't see them targeting Vision because they would be open to a bigger threat in Apprime.

Re: Vision/newdawn nap
The fact that vision are likeable will give them extra milage i believe but at some point.....A brave move is going to have to be made as the greed or dissatisfaction with ones current position becomes apparent. Most likely something will kick off toward the end of the round but the question would be wether it would be too late or not.

So what you're saying is, that either by sheer luck or planning; Vision has managed to play politics perfectly (and set up there galaxys preround perfectly) to get them a win in a round which looked pretty open at the beginning.
I dont think its over yet though, DLR are capable of giving Vision a roid race and have been growing nicely since they got hit badly. If they can even get close to vision in roids or score, then it will turn the the tables and force Vision to make the move on DLR.
Note: i re-read what i said and you could read into it, that i was trying take some credit for visions actions. So just to clarify before suggests it.. Ive got nothing to do with anything Vision ever does, i just scream "war" occasionally in the private channel and ive no idea whats happend this round outside of visions politics

Re: Vision/newdawn nap
I don't think it's luck or particularly good judgment as vision didn't make everyone play this way, but they haven't made bad decisions.
The conditions are just good for an alliance like vision to grow (for the moment).

Re: Vision/newdawn nap
Honestly, who cares if Vision wins? As long as Apprime dies, and maybe DLR if they keep supporting them, I'm ok with that. From what I hear, quite a few others would be too.

Re: Vision/newdawn nap
I thought a game was about winning sunny. Your only goal is to take out an ally not even being in the top 5 this round just cause you're a little upset?

Re: Vision/newdawn nap
Seems everyone is starting to think that vsn has won already... So ive got a question to asc. Are you really not playing for the win? You have enough members to win (you have proven that before) and you have around same avg size as most other top allies. And from how the universe currently looks Im guessing you wont get much inc at all.. Based on you having nap agreements with vsn and nd and your current position as an "outsider". You have proven before that you can come from the shadows and win a round so why does everyone seem to downplay asc chances?

Our activity is poor, I haven't launched a fleet for days nor have I been called to launch one. I don't think we've got the motivation.

We could win if we magically got motivated but no one can be arsed. My guess is we'll pick out a few people we don't like and hit them.

Re: Vision/newdawn nap
I think that at some point you have to take into account the fact that we've either won or dominated since round 26. Round 27 we ****ed up ourselves, but then the 'machine' got rolling. Round 32 we had a relatively small Ascendancy but manage to kingmake the round, while in round we beat Apprime one on one. Round 34 we fought a round together with Apprime where lots of us, maybe unjustified, have the feeling that we 'won too, against 6 alliances hit us/Apprime'. Round 35 we did not play 'seriously' as Ascendancy, while those who did play seriously played in Apprime and saw Benneh finally get a planet win, something we in Ascendancy all rejoiced about.
So you might understand why at some point we just don't care about winning anymore.
