funniest gig ever
went to a gig last night, simon fowler, the lead singer of Ocean Colour Scene, doing a 200 ticket gig in a pub in west yorkshire, and me and my mates got 4 of them! result!
Turned into the most bizarre gig ever though, when he came on stage, he was already drunk, and he drank like a fish through his set, to the point where he actually had to be carried off about half an hour early, as he was too pissed to stand. never been to an atmosphere like it though, as all 200 people knew all the words to the songs, often better than simon semed too ( he was so pissed he quite often had to start going la la la la la etc as he kept forgetting the words to his own songs)

overall wouldnt have missed it for the world, but it was quite strange seeing someone who is meant to be a pro acting like that

I had the misfortune to go to an Oasis concert when i was younger.

Liam was pissed out of his skull.

He actually sounded better.

Maybe he was depressed that he once played to thousands but has been reduced to playing dingey pubs in west yorkshire.

yeah, but so pissed that he couldnt remember the words to his own songs, and at one point launched into an oasis song for about a verse, before looking puzzled and stopping
