I haven't read it (either in the sense of my studying it or a literal one). If I were to write a review it would be worse than my comparison. It is possible that Joyce shouldn't be mentioned in discussions about novels, but this is a thread about books and I don't read too many novels*. It will have to satisfy you that there is no way for me to meet this charge that I feel would defend the book justly.
I read The Trial then started on Metamorphosis, but dropped it after reading the start for a reason I can't remember. I'm always put off by the fact I'd probably have to restart the story to appreciate it, and I didn't like what I had read as much as I had liked The Trial. I will investigate The Judgement.
Sorry for the confusion in this post. Last night trying to find even this much prompted severe anxiety on my part. Must be the drugs I'm taking.
