Re: What? Again?

Of course not, there are no benefits for you. Just for us.

Also, pretty funny that you consider the horde a serious threat.

As for imp, I see this nap with asc and horde by Imp, will force the universe into splitting into blocks.. so again i don't see the benifit.
Afaik the avoidance pact Imperia and Asc had ended over 10 days ago. This does not mean Imperia stopped avoiding Asc tho, in the same way Imperia avoided Apprime. Up to this point there was little use for them to interfere in the Asc/App war, hitting a gal of either side could be seen as Imperia siding with the other side, so Imperia avoided both while growing stronger. However it has become more and more apparent Apprime will walk away with the victory if nothing changes in the situation, so Imperia napping Asc is probably their best bet for success.

At least this is better than last round where the #1 alliance napped the #4 alliance before any real opposing block had been formed. Let's just hope that when/if either Asc or Imp pass Apprime and start pulling away the politics remain fluid.

I don't see how horde fits in this as a block partner... I think Imperia have made their motives for the nap with the horde clear in another thread on these forums.

Who said we do? We hit them because we thought they're flakking for Apprime. Same reason for which we hit ODDR also.

The avoidance was in effect for two days, afterwards certain Imperia members hit Ascendancy (alongside Apprime or soloing) and we decided to drop the said deal. There were about 5 days between the date the avoidance was dropped and the NAP made.

Maybe, in the future, you should get your information right before stating any opinion.

Allthough ODDR and APP have always gotten along very well, and shocker right here , the only alliance we got a good trusting relationship with, build up during past few rounds(except for rock).
probably cause they don't act like whiny ****s *cough* nd, ct *cough* when we hit them.

As for you guys hitting us, you guys prolly could have done us alot worse, so won't consider that a decent asc hit on us. no good reason any of the top 3 should focus on the 5 - 10 alliances anyway

Re: What? Again?

Yeah, there was no "anti-NFI" last round. The 1up/eXi wars were always enjoyable (even to be on the losing side) simply because it was playing against competition playing at the same (if not better) level. While certainly considering most preditictions had us at 3rd or 4th at best, to win the round was still enjoyable - it just felt like the round lacked balance and so was somewhat dull at times.

I wasn't trying to suggest NFI were in the same league as eXi by the way...

(we were bigger and better than both eXi and The Beatles)

Re: What? Again?

Look it's as simple as this, even if I may have missed the boat a touch. Apprime are the most motivated (and hence the most capable in terms of being a success), so there's going to be moves to counter act them. Why anybody would give a toss about who they are working with beats me, to be honest.

Apprime are probably going to win because they're more active than everybody else regardless of what anyone does, so I don't know what they or their allies are worried about exactly. There's nothing to even vaguely apologise for here.

Re: What? Again?

Apprime is in the same state as NFI last round; recruited too many people (or maybe just the better ones) and has no "real" competition, at least not at the level they're playing.

I think NewDawn need to change their name to Lollipop Girls so that we might also run around with red, blue and yellow balloons. Auphoric state of mind is the key it seems.
Perhaps just to try and fool someone into finding another pet to kick in the ribs.
It has been said already, but going to join in on this if you think ND is so great then why do they even come after ODDR every round. Could you explain to me why you are complaining about a bigger alliance attacking a smaller one when you clearly do the same thing as most other people would.

And about renaming ND, just call it something else then lollipop girls. That name is to courageous for ND.

Apprime is crap.. always have been, just that they don't have anyone against who has balls and time + skills to destroy them.

Anyways it's just pax politics, pax players allow people to get their fleets ready in the first 2-3 weeks without opposition your basically making sure a active alliance can't be destroyed after that just roided with lol waves what don't affect their alliance wide ranking as their so ineffective tactic. Problem is just to decide whom you roid, so that you don't leave potential enemies to grow in peace as you can't fight everyone same time.

Funny to read forums, nothing ever changes unless you change it yourself. Back to my retirement now, was just checking this politics at amon's.
