Fancy Dress
Ok, My mate is going to a film-themed fancy dress party on saturday and needs some inspiration for a costume.
It's gotta be quite easy because he's a lazy bastard.
I think he wants to wear his terrorist-style balaclava to scare the shit out of people and the idea he has at the moment is to wear black and go as a burglar, But he can't think of a film with a burglar in it...
The more weapons that can be incorporated into the costume the better i think.
Other ideas: Ninja, terrorist...
So, I need costume ideas and relevent films for the costumes to come from.
To make the thread more interesting please post your amusing fancy dress experiences too

Re: Fancy Dress
Suicide bomber. He can go all tooled up with massive amounts of fake explosives strapped around him, with lots of dogey wires and big press button thingy in one hand. Might freak some people out a bit, or get arrested by the police later.

Re: Fancy Dress
The best fancy dress I've ever seen was Inspector Gadget, because he even had the spinning rotary blade on his hat working.
I went as the builder in The Village People. The evening was ruined because we only got 4 members out of 6 though
edit: actually Batman and Robin ala Only Fools and Horses is the real winner

Re: Fancy Dress
Ninja is quite easy.
There is step by step instructions on how to tie a black T-Shirt around your head to make it a total ninja head scarf thingy at this place
Then get a black top n black pyjama pants, black belt and sword.

Re: Fancy Dress
one of my friends was dressed as a "Don". he made his hair slimey to the back (i hope you get what i mean) dressed in a black suit, wearing sun-glasses and a white scarf.
he earned lots of props for his dress.
go naked as porno star and call yourself "white hammer" or whatever.

Re: Fancy Dress
Thumb wars was retarded.
Darth Vader would be cool...
I dressed up as a naughty schoolgirl last halloween for a party but I doubt your friend wants to do that. :/

Re: Fancy Dress

Re: Fancy Dress
Dress as Indiana Jones, clearly. You don't need to bother shaving and you get to carry round a whip without people thinking you're a weirdo.

Re: Fancy Dress
Get him to strap a pillow or two around himself, draw a beard on himself (if he doesn't have one already) and mess his hair up but put a baseball cap on it, then he can go as Michael Moore.

Re: Fancy Dress
Why not print off RageyBabey's avatar or picture, cut out eye holes, place string on it and attach to it his face, he can then get hit on by inner net geeks all night.
Pretend she's some B-movie actress.

Re: Fancy Dress
I wonder how many PMs rageybaby has had so far.
Must be tought being female on GD.
I got in trouble with my ex recently because some guy found pics of her on my webspace (just of her smiling, and sticking her tongue out etc) and got her username. Apparently him PMing her telling her she's pretty is "creepy" and she "wants me to take them down". I got called a pervert for all of this. <3 !
Best is that I don't even know the guy.
Anyone know who chris4buffy is on Yahoo messenger?
Sorry, I'm off-topic. Back to the costume.
