Hmmm, I guess that explains why people have been putting no-name obscure bands like Queen, Manics, REM, Green Day, Nirvana, Pearl Jam, Radiohead etc....

This thread confirms that the vast majority of people on these boards have a really shit taste in music.
A notable exception (there are a few) is:

Unkle - "Inside"

Blutengel - Black wedding (only in a certain "hardened" version)
In Extremo - Spielmanns Fluch
Subway to Sally - Kleid aus Rosen
Apocalyptica - ...
The first three are the pearls of current German bands. As for the last: Playing Haevy metal with four cellos is something you should see and hear!

Re: Top Three Bands
It surprised me as well. I would have thought Dante listens to the so-called "better" music than what kids listen to.
But either way, Dante

Re: Top Three Bands
Hmm my father has that one still on LP, too bad I can't play those anymore I'll "find" it tonight somewhere
Still can't believe I missed it though, got half a dozen albums, a separate Queen playlist and my father has the first two greatest hits albums. Nice when your father has roughly the same music taste, saves a lot of money (and bandwith)

Alan Fletcher (Karl Kennedy) is the best solo artist. He's like Morrissey but better because he's Dr K.

Don't tell him, but we real punks (You know, the ones that are dirty, never wash, eat things from dumpsters and throw things at cops), we kinda laugh at those oldies who listen to Blink 182 to pick up girls.

Re: Top Three Bands
I have a Blink 182 album.
I've used it to pick up girls.
It rocks.

I don't wash either.
And don't tell anyone, but the people who centre their musical taste around some kind of bizarre lifestyle anarchism are kind of laughed at too dude.
Also, the best music to pick up punk girls with is something more pretentious like Anti-Flag or Misfits. Pretty much every girl I've ever met hasn't liked Blink 182.

3 Doors Down - Here Without You
Bon Jovi - Diamond Ring
Don't have a real favourite atm.

Soap-users supports capitalism and dead children, dude!
Hey! It's not my fault I suddenly started liking punk and not washing my hair, and got a lot of patches and stuff just after I met some real anarchists and started hanging with them, is it?

I think you're being too restrictive with regards to range of pap that actually Nod likes. He's far worse than that.

Random three:
Aphex Twin - Windowlicker
Radiohead - 2+2=5
David Holmes - La Dolcha Vita
There are too many to mention really. Also depends on mood.

Re: Top Three Bands
Speaking of Blink 182...
I was wearing a Blink 182 t-shirt and carrying a skateboard a month ago in south London. I was waiting for the bus to go home when all of the sudden a prepubescent girl of around 11-12 was "checking me out" at the bus stop. She looked like a newbie in the emo-punk scene.
It scared me.
