Were anyones schooldays actually the best days of their life?
I cant even begin to imagine how they possible could be, barring a tragic accident occurring within a few months of leaving.

My life now is a festering pile of ass.
My life then had far fewer complications.
Then wins. Now loses. Thanks for reading my other thread though!

Re: Were anyones schooldays actually the best days of their life?
I have much fun in my life now, and im still at school.
I think the best days of my life were the days of my early childhood, where there was no limits, no things i "had" to do, i did not know what the world really was and so on. But those don't really count, as i was just a ignorant toddler.

Re: Were anyones schooldays actually the best days of their life?
to an extent, but i doubt anyone here is willing to say "ive had the best days of my life" so as not to make the rest of their life bland and shit.
Id say i havent had the best days of my life because theres so much i havent done - travelled, loved, hit a 180 in darts. My school days served the purpose of "setting up" the best days of my life, ie, making all the friends i wish to keep etc. Though in a sense i scuppered that a bit by moving away to a different city and only returning home twice a month :| Nevermind, i have a whole shitload more friends here.
Oh plus because Stirling has such a wide range of folk going to it (not actually met anyone from stirling yet) i have met people from all over, which leads to thousands of pub tales starting with "i knew a guy/girl from canada /london /edinburgh /aberdeen /kelso /galashields /livingston /kilmarnock/ belfast"

Re: Were anyones schooldays actually the best days of their life?
School sort of sucked for a long time. But the last few years I was sort of "me" and I knew what I was doing so they were pretty cool. Not better than college because in college I get to sleep in constantly (plus I'll have to get a job soon).

I don't know when the best days of my life are/were/will be/whatever.
Now seems pretty cool, minus the having a job bit which utterly sucks.

Re: Were anyones schooldays actually the best days of their life?
elementery school was horrid
junior high sucked
high school wasn't too bad
college rocked
grad school is ? (to be determined)
so i don't know yet, but by fitting a line to the data and extrapolating, the nursing home should be a 24-7 orgy with supermodels

Re: Were anyones schooldays actually the best days of their life?
My life for the last year and 6 days have been the best days of my life. They combined the attitude I had as a 14 year old with the lifestyle I had as a 19 year old plus bonus kickass (jitsu) extras.

Primary School rocked, Grammar School was incredibly and unimaginable crap, gay and generally shite. Now is somewhere inbetween.
I'm also forced to agree with my parents that they where right when back in the day they told me I should be glad i didn't have any responsibilities other than going to school.

Re: Were anyones schooldays actually the best days of their life?
elementary scholl was full of up and downs. Doing it in public school meant trouble, but in the end i knew all the right people so I wouldnt get into trouble. As i moved to private school and highscholl it wasnt much better... a lot of twats running around earning more money than they deserve and shit... now at UNI its all and sweet... but i dont think, by a long shot, that these are the best days of my life

School was good, but I shant sulk if life wants to get nicer for me
Well, come to thinkof it, sad as it may seem, the times when I was in school were good, the times when I was at home were pretty poor cause I had a major teenage angst thing, and no internet to let me share it with the world.
