Stupid Summer Songs
Okay since the weather was great today I dug out my old summer folder of music.
Currently it has Jimmy Eat World - The Sweetness on repeat
getting a bit bored and considering I don't normally go in for this type of music its testament to the greatness of this track.
Whats your summer anthem old or new?
I want more music.

Mr President - Coco Jambo
Sex on the Beach - by the same people? not sure
I must stress that I think these two songs suck. Just mentioning summer songs.
A great one though would have to be summertime by the Fresh Prince and DJ Jazzy Jeff

What an absolutely terrifying Idea. The Vengaboys doing a cover of anything.

I stopped and I stared at you
Walking on the shore
I tried to concentrate
My mind wants to explore
The tropical scent of you
Takes me up above
Girl, when I look at you -
Oh, I fall in love
No doubt you look so fine
Girl I wanna make you mine
I want to be with a woman
Just like you
No doubt that I'm the only man
Who can love you like I can
So just let me be with a woman
That I love
Oh oh oh - mysterious girl
I wanna get close to you
Oh oh oh - mysterious girl
Move your body
Close to mine
Close to mine
Watching the sun go down
The tide is drifting in
We can get closer now
And feel the warmth within
Cause I'm lookin' in your eyes
And feeling so in light
And girl when you touch me
It's time to take it through the night
Girl I wanna be with you
And wanna spend the night with you
I need to be with the woman I love
Girl I wanna do to you all the things
That you want me to
I need to be with the woman I love
Oh oh oh - mysterious girl
I wanna get close to you
Oh oh oh - mysterious girl
Move your body
Close to mine
Close to mine

I'm sad to say I knew what that song was from the first 4 lines
If we are on gimmicky summer songs as most of you seem to be suggesting how about
Chaka Demus and Pliers - Tease Me
Shabba Ranks - Tease Me
and anything with Pato Banton
why have I just chosen lots of Reggae(ish) records as gimmicky ?

This is the first and only song on this thread that I've heard of.
