valentine's day is ****
i can't believe how over commercialized valentines day has become. it's the stupidest holiday of them all.. and stores started selling stuff JANUARY 30. it wasn't even february yet.. fs i don't want to see that **** til maybe a week before. (that i can handle). and then it can dissapear on the 15th.
i hate this holiday  (not even a real holiday :P)

So you live in different cities, big deal. There's this amazing new thing called the pony express. If he takes care of it now your present can be at your door by Feb 14th. Or he can use the even newer form of technology called the phone to call up your local florist and have flowers delivered to you.

hmm well to be honest the m8 I fancied had a long term bf and so I just said to myself "think of something/someone else",didnt really help thought eventually someone else came along to re-focus my attention.
As for available m8's that you fancy,not sure there.It could be great with her thinking alike and too afraid to say it either,or crap with her wanting to be friends.
I think the possibility of it being good outways the bad.Sure you only live once and you'll regret it if you dont at least test the water.

Edit: By the way, do you have to have a passport now to get into the states? I know you didn't used to have to have one to cross the Canadian/US border, but I haven't been up there post Sept. 11. Just wondering

i don't think you need a passport. it's handy if you're any other ethnicity than white (unfortunate but true).
they're goin to Reno cause they found a cheap bus tour and they're going with another couple.. who incidently have their anniversary on the same day.

Every year I forget, every year I feel like I should have got her a card. Why? Why should I do something cos everybody else is doing it, and I dont want to? Because there is so much pressure that I have to do it and everybody will think I'm cold if I dont, isnt that peer pressure? I never liked valentines day, not ever. Its just so not-good. I dont really know why, probably just all the perssure on flowers and chocolates or something simmilar. But maybe its beacause you are forced to be nice to your gf/bf that. Not that i would not, but to have a special day for it? Why? If i had a gf, i would be nice to her, not matter what day it was.
All the holidays are ****. But, its a day or two off school..but then, i dont go to school, so i dont notice...
