Rock's recruitment has re-opened for rd 17 and beyond

Rock's history in pa has always been to take in players with little or no experience and train them up, we also take experienced players who want to play a little more relaxed than other alliances
our philosophy has always been to play the game for fun and while we do strive for a good rank our member enjoyment has always been top of our agenda
what rock can offer is a thriving community filled with experienced players .
Rock members have priority every step of the way. Officers and high commanders are there to serve the needs and wishes of these members in any way possible. They are our life, our blood, the very makeup of Rock (and Planetarion) and we shall continue to strive to make sure that Rock?s fame in the area of strong defense continues, and that attacks as remain fruitful and fun as possible, never forgetting that FUN is what this is all about.

Joining requirements will vary from day to day once round 17 has started and score requirements may come into effect. Now, before the start of the round, the requirement atm is only to be on IRC at least 4 hours per day. Details are usually available in the topic of Rock's public irc room - #rock on the Netgamers server. Join #rock and get to know us. We are a great community and we are famous for our community spirit.
Before approaching an officer, please make sure you are armed with the following personal information where available:

*Present Planetarion Score/Past scores from Previous rounds.
*Average amount of time spent active daily on irc
*Personal alliance history
*Personal Planetarion history
*special skills (ie. Gfx, coding etc?)
*Officer skills (example BC)

Well what can i say? Ive bin a HC of rock twice, i had the privlage of having a great carrear there. Its a great community, real fun, and even though you may look at the rankings and think 'it dont look so good' beleive me your mistaken. Once your in there channels and see how they work, and the effort the officers/HCs make for the members you will see Rock is one of the best alliances around. To last from... is it round 3 rock was born? Till now i see as a great achievment which people need to respect i feel.

Perhaps one of the strangest communities I have ever come across, but also one of the most warm, welcoming environments I have ever had the privilege of coming across. Rock is a friendly community, but can also play this game to a top standard. I was once asked to spy on rock many rounds ago, when it was allied to alliances such as Xanadu and TFD. TFD and Xanadu are now gone, but Rock is still standing. Now something I will agree with what Assassin said above, not many alliances can keep going and keep evolving as they have. That deserves a lot of respect for just achieving this. I wish Rock luck this round and I hope you keep going in future rounds.

Indeed. ROCK is amongst the oldest alliances in Planetarion. We do what we can to be a good alliance, whilst we also focus on having a lot of fun on the way.

Personally, i've found ROCK to be a great place for me to find new friends to play PA with. Our community is open for new, fresh blood, and we love to make fun of anything, be it Ascendancy, your mother, or Bush. We're even having so much fun, that my gf, who hates both PA and IRC, have started to come on to IRC, just to join us having fun.
