Computer games. I need help.
I have a feeling that me and the girlfriend are going to endure many periods of silence in our relationship and to combat this I want to take up computer gaming. It might also wind her up a bit when she realises I couldnt give a toss about whatever petty thing she is upset about.
Its been a while since I gamed and I want some tips.
Whats the best games to get? Whats the best system to play them on? That sort of thing.

Pro Evolution Soccer 3 on the PS2 "floats my boat" atm.
OR
I remember a game, not sure what it was called, anyway it was a text adventure about a man with relationship problems and you had to type in what you thought he should do next, except it had a very limited parser and just couldn't understand your commands.
