I read many, they are full of analysis. I'm not being disingenuous, different opinon isn't a cause for a suggestion of stupidity.

I buy the times because for some ****ing reason it's the cheapest newspaper out there and I'm a penniless student with no job.

Re: Favorite UK Broadsheet newspaper
Guardian for preference - i used to like the independent but it has gone downhill. i'm happy reading any broadsheet so long as i have access to some other source with a different bias (i know of none without bias, and anyway how would one check?).
private eye usually carries some interesting tidbits.

students can get the guardian for 20p to the best of my knowledge. you might need to get some vouchers or something.
economist wouldn't normally be regarded as a 'paper as reporting the news is not its focus.
technically tho , it seems the economist isn't a newspaper, not because of its content but...

The Daily Mail
No not really, that's a tabloid that likes to think it's a broadsheet. I read The Times and The Daily Telegraph. I stay well away from The Guardian.

The Daily Mail is a tabloid that likes to think it's a broadsheet but is actually more like the Sun.

I'm talking sense, I have read the FT and The Times today - they both seem to analyse current affairs. Typically there is a brief introduction of the story in question followed by commentary and analysis.
Apart from analysis of recent events, there is very little content. If I wanted no analysis, I would glance at the 0830 GICS report.

We'll ask everyone 'Are you in favour of seizing the library?', and if anyone says 'No.', then we'll take those fellows and stand them against the wall.

We need the comedy arguing on the internet picture. But change the words "on the internet" to "over newspapers".

Nonsense!
The Daily Mirror is read by people who think they run the country;
The Guardian is read by people who think they ought to run the country;
The Times is read by people who actually do run the country;
The Daily Mail is read by the wives of the people who run the country;
The Financial Times is read by people who own the country;
The Morning Star is read by people who think the country ought to be run by another country;
And the Daily Telegraph is read by people who think it is.

What about the people who read the Sun?
Sun readers don't care who runs the country, as long as she's got big tits.
