Agressive Defence option

Would it be nice to have an agressive defence option or "pursuit mode".
Would cost +1(?) tick return travel time, but would enable your def fleet to engage the attacking fleet if it recalls at eta1 (causing like 10% of the normal damage without the fleeing enemy being able to return fire).

interesting, but what if you do no damage (cath) or if the attacker land, would you pursue? and what about defense fleet sent? do they follow?

The Cath by freezing some ships on their return trip would force the whole enemy fleet to slow down by 1 tick to let the freezed ships catch up, meaning the return travel for the attacking fleet withdrawing will have +1 eta.

Sounds nice, but most people would just recall eta 2 or above if they saw it had def on it

true, but it would save time for defence fleets, and using newsies (beginning of round or lack of scanner online later) would have a drawback...
