Torrent Clients...which one?
Which torrent clients do you use other than the bog-standard Bittorrent?
I wanna try em out and see which one actually works as a fully fledged torrent downloader.
And nobody should recommend Novatorrent

Re: Torrent Clients...which one?
Thanks for the links skiddy, Stew and ChubbyChecker.
Got 4 different clients now. I already tried ot the bittorrent and the experimental version. My verdict:
BOTH CRAP!
Dont bother with them unless you want to download one file overnight.
What connections speeds do most of you downloaders have anyway? Mine is 128kb/s

Re: Torrent Clients...which one?
The more windows you have open the slower the download rate. So it works best if there is one file/folder being downloaded at a time.

Re: Torrent Clients...which one?
i prefer torrentstorm
you can run it automatic and allsorts
i usually have 3/4 at once because i never get full download speeds anyway.

Re: Torrent Clients...which one?
I have come to a conclusion on two of the clients:
Azureus=HELL NO! Total trash.
Bittornado=Pretty good as a client cos the dl rate stays almost the same at a nice high level. Also works well with 5-10 simultaneous downloads.
I'll give a review of the rest when I have finished downloading the current games, appz and tracks.

Re: Torrent Clients...which one?
From installation to the fact that its a shitty java client. DL rate is WAY to crap and functions hardly work at all.

you cant complain about the download rate - it depends on how many seeds and peers there are
all the functions in my Azureus work, well the ones i use

Can you explain why Slipknot v3 with only 5 seeds and no peers gives a high DL with Bittornado and a low DL with Azureus? Can you?

Re: Torrent Clients...which one?
i use the normal standard one and it works perfectly fine.
you can limit your upload rate, you get good download rates (depending on the source, ofc), what else could anyone want ?
