i am sure this use to be the case, dont know if anyone has suggested bringing it back.

change it so eta in gal is 4 for fi/co, 5 for fr/de and 6 for cr/bs. just so people have to actually think a little if they wanna send fake ingal def, same as fake in ally def.

I'm pretty sure it never was 4/5/6. In any case I don't see how it would improve the game.

not necessarily those etas, i just meant different eta for the different classes.

i think it would improve the game in 2 ways. 1) make it so you cant just ingal fake def with any old ships 2) make it a bit more balanced between the classes as it would remove the extra tick(s) you have to def against the slower ships.

sadly, not a fan.. imo just makes things more complicated and dosent give nething from it..

1) ppl can still send ingal fake def with any ships they want, just add 1 diff eta ship to fleet ure goin to send to def and its done (like u do leave 1 fi/co, 1 fr/de and 1 cr/bs ship to base to fake def nowdays neways)
2) base eta5 for everything ingal kinda seems like a decent thing to me.. as i cant see why fi/co player would welcome an idea that the tgt has 1 more extra tick to cover vs. fi/co incs ingal.. its about speed for them and hoping that noone notices or gathers enough def with the 3hrs till their att is eta4 and out of reach for ingal help as well

CBA I hate saying this but i think your right. I think In-gal def should be eta 6. As it stands Gal Def beats Everything. In a good Gal you can get most of a raid covered with just fleets ingal if dc'd properly.

Removing that extra tick makes it harder on the gals which is a good thing. They still have the Eta advantage as they defend all calls after ally def. But it just makes it easier for incs to get passed an inactive gal. Any Way to bring active playing back, is a good thing.
